note: Altarpiece commissioned for a chapel dedicated to Saint Jerome within San Domenico; Henry and Joannides (2013) propose the patron to be Girolamo del Doce. Features Tobias and the Archangel Raphael. Henry and Joannides describe the work as dull and give the heads of the Virgin and Jerome to Raphael (p. 92); Mozo (2013) in the same volume notes the awkward positioning of the figures in the finished painting (as compared to the preparatory skteches) as a sign this was most likely completed by Romano or Penni. Both del Vecchi (1982) and Ferino Pagden (1989) situate this as a collaboration but do not offer names. Several replicas exist in the collections of Naples, the Escorial, and Valladolid. https://www.museodelprado.es/en/the-collection/art-work/the-holy-family-with-raphael-tobias-and-saint/aec8373f-f502-4095-9c8f-d61b8b2fffc1
