note: Features vignettes of: - Moses Receiving the Tablets of Law (Perino and Polidoro) - The Adoration of the Golden Calf (Romano and Bartolomeo di David - see prep drawing:Uffizi, inv. 510 E) - The Column of Smoke (Bartolomeo di David) - Moses Showing the People of Israel the Tablets of Law (Romano) Corners feature a fictive architectural colonnade with square-shaft Corinthian columns, perhaps reminiscent of Peruzzi's Villa Farnesina Sala delle Prospettive (1517-1519). This design connection is supported by Dacos (2008), who noted that the entire format of these vaulted bays was perhaps borrowed from Peruzzi's fictive pergolated scaffold as seen in the Loggia di Galatea in the same villa.
