note: Oberhuber (1999) proposed this modello was by Raphael, but Henry/Joannides (2013) reassigned it to Penni. Joannides (1983) noted the borrowing in this drawing of the figures of the Madonna and Saint John from the Disputà ; he also observed that Saint Catherin's postured was echoed in the Noli me Tangere.
